Traveling Vicariously
My wife and I just love to travel. We guard well the limited time we get off of work for vacation each year so that we can plan a decent length trip somewhere unique usually. And we would certainly love to travel a considerably more than we have the time or resources to do at present. So, in the mean time, I just console myself by living vicariously through the tons of travel reviews I read constantly. I love reading a the first person accounts of what people did at some place and what they thought and the goods and bads of a particular place. It allows me to see myself living in their shoes someday.
