Some people are quite worried about the current rise of offshore software development companies, as well as their seemingly endless ability to put local consumer markets on their head. I personally feel that since we are headed for what looks like a global economy and community anyway, that technological gadgets and software should be brought down in price, in order for more people to access the web, for example. There are way too many consumers that need software and products, but they do not have many hundreds of dollars to spend for these services and products. A global software access is the answer to this problem.
