Online Telephone Directory Provides Business and Residential Listings
While on vacation I found out what a valuable asset an online telephone directory can be. We were on our way to Niagara Falls, Ontario for the very first time. The family was very excited about seeing the Falls and visiting other attractions in the area. Not sure about which bridge to take to cross into Canada, I took the wrong one and ended up about a twenty miles south of our destination. The wife suggested I stop and ask for directions, but I told her I could find Niagara Falls and our hotel on my own. After pulling to the side of the road, I took out my iPhone and accessed the Internet to find an online Phone book. I entered the name of our accommodation and the province where it is located. The telephone number and address appeared on the screen and I placed the call. The desk clerk was very helpful and gave me accurate directions to the hotel. With phone numbers available online, who needs to ask for directions?
