The Institute of Rio Branco – IRBr
The Institute Rio Branco IRBr, located in Brasilia – Brazil, is a diplomatic academy and graduate school offering studies in International Relations. Founded in 1945, the school is managed by the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil and anyone who desires a diplomatic career in Brazil must graduate from this academy. To be admitted to the IRBr, an applicant must passé several written examination on subjects like Portuguese, Brazilian History, Geography, Law, Economics, English, French and Spanish. In addition to a rigorous entrance examination, applicants to the school must be Brazilian citizens by birth, possess an undergraduate degree and have a clean criminal record.
