Feeding The Hut
The restaurant chain Pizza Hut, in an attempt to make their franchise more youth-friendly and hip, recently considered renaming several of their locations ‘The Hut’. This move towards appealing to the younger generation was ridiculed by the media, who pointed out that they had removed the one word from the name that told customers what kind of food was served at the establishment. Many were quick to reference “Jabba the Hut” from Star Wars, and the fast food giant decided not to go through with the name change after realizing that it did not come across as “cool” as they thought. file renamer
