Facing it Like an Adult

I have finally decided that today is the day. I am not going to be able to wait any longer. It is the waiting that is just driving me crazy right now. I am going to get in contact with my birth parents today, no matter what. I had all of the information right in front of me from the online Phone book. There was really not any more excuses. I am going to have to just get this one over with. I am going to be an adult, and face this difficult conversation head on. There is nothing else to do.

My boyfriend and I were trying to help a couple of friends of ours to stop smoking. We tried to explain to them about a program called stop smoking benefits. It was a group of smokers and former smokers, that came together to support one another. It was kind of like alcoholic anonymous, but for cigarette smokers. They were so happy that we told them about the group, because they felt as if they would not be strong enough to stop on their own. The program was very serious about helping one another and doing it at a slow pace.
