Sell Products You Could Hear. Be Creative and Active, Success Came Alone. Achievement Eventually Was Made
A few years I was sitting at the desk as a secretary, and doing boring admin jobs in tamworth I was thought to be skilful enough to go out there to sell our company’s products – radio commercials. I was promoted as a salesperson. Of course, greater responsibility and work followed. I had to visit over 5 potential clients a day. I made myself make at least 30 sales call every day. I was always the first one to be at work and the last one to leave. I had to come up with proposals. The rewarding part was the latest product and its promotion information I had heard first-hand. Another part was the creating a marketing plan. Radios allows more space than TV for games and fun ideas. It allows you to play with sounds and words. That made my job more challenging and exciting. I started as a rookie and became the number 3 salesperson in our team. When I became top 3 salesperson, I was still a junior compared to all other salespersons. It was the most stressful but exciting job I have ever had.
